Day 1: AIRPORT - ANURADAPURA
Bobby Travel's representative will meet you at the Bandaranaike International Airport and take you to your hotel in Anuradhapura.
In the afternoon, you will go on a city tour of the first capital of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. You will see the remains of the Brazen Palace (which was once 9 stories high) and the Sri Maha Bodhi a Bo Tree, which is over 2000 years old and grew from the branch of the very tree beneath which the Buddha attained enlightenment. At the end of the tour you will return to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: ANURADAPURA - POLONNARUWA - SIGIRIYA
After breakfast, you will visit the ruins of the Ruwanweliseya Dagaba. You will see the 2nd Century BC shrine containing the Buddha’s collar bone relic, the Abhayagiriya temple and the Jetawanaramaya dagobas. Next is a visit to the Kuttam Pokuna (also known as the twin ponds) and the Samadhi Buddha, a statue of the Buddha in a meditative pose which is being acknowledged worldwide as a masterpiece.
Then, you will proceed to Polonnaruwa, the second capital of Sri Lanka in the 11th and 12th centuries. You will visit the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Gal Vihare, three splendid statues of the Buddha in upright, sedan and recumbent postures carved out of a large rock. Other interesting sights are the Lotus Bath, Tivanke Image House with the best known Buddhist frescoes of Sri Lanka, and man-made Parakarama Samudra built by Parakarama Bahu the great. At the end of the tour, you will check in at your hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 3: SIGIRIYA - DAMBULLA - MATALE - KANDY
After an early breakfast proceed to Colombo view the St Clair’s and Devon falls also visit the location where the Oscar winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed en route.
Evening city and shopping tour of Colombo Colombo is the largest city and former administrative capital of Sri Lanka and is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and remnants of a bygone colonial era. Due to its large harbor and its strategic position along the East-West sea trade routes, Colombo was known to ancient traders 2,000 years ago. However it was only made the capital of the island when Sri Lanka was ceded to the British Empire in 1815. The main city is home to a majority of the Sri Lanka’s corporate offices, restaurants and entertainment venues. On this tour you will visit many of the historical, religious and commercial sites of Colombo including the historic and bustling Fort and Pettah, the elite residential Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park and much more.

Day 4: NEGOMBO - AIRPORT
Leisure at your beach resort Negombo is a characteristic fishing town north of Colombo, it is a mere 6 Km from the international airport. Negombo is a gourmet's paradise with sea food in plenty. Old world fishing craft like the outrigger canoe and the catamaran bring seer, skip jack, herring and mullet, pomfret & amber jack, while lobster & prawn are caught in the lagoon.
